It is time once again to ask the most important question to gamers when it comes to their hobby this weekend: Whatcha’ Playin’?
We are in a bit of a slow release schedule for games, which for me means catching up on some huge games I missed last year, some not so huge games, and some games I’ve somehow missed out on for years.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
I’ve put a lot of time into this game and still somehow only scratched the surface. What can I say about this game that hasn’t already been said? It is my favorite Assassin’s Creed ever in terms of gameplay and I’m swiftly warming up to the story–despite its lack of Assassin’s order.
The Way Remastered
I picked this up on a recommendation from the Well Red Mage himself, and it didn’t hurt that it was only a dollar on the eShop. I’ve been very intrigued with what I’ve played so far, a game about the grief of a man doing everything to get his dead wife back. This adventure platformer has been intriguing so far, and I can’t wait to see how it all plays out.
This is one of those games I held off on for ages, and finally saw it was on a free 7 day trial of PS Plus. I cannot believe I waited this long. It is a stealth game that harkens back to the days of Tenchu, and it is set against an awesome Japanese inspired backdrop with beautiful stylized graphics.
In other words, it feels like a game made and designed just for me.
So how about you? Got any big gaming plans this weekend?
